Justice Africa Sudan moniters and reports human rights violations through its network of human rights monitors and activists in all parts of Sudan. We produce press releases, urgent actions, and periodic reports.

We also participate in regional and international human rights conferences and share our reports with regional and international bodies.

ENHANCING POLITICAL PARTICIPATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILLS FOR SUDAN MARGINALIZED WOMEN PROJECT:

ENHANCING POLITICAL AND SOCIAL PARTICIPATION OF WOMEN LEADERS FROM MARGINALIZED COMMUNITIES:

The program aims to enhance leadership capacities and promote political participation of women from Sudan’s marginalized communities in public affairs. It works towards fostering genuine discussions on women’s issues and changing societal practices and laws that hinder women’s participation and development in society.

The program includes a series of workshops for 70 young women from the states of Darfur and South Kordofan, in addition to several public seminars in Khartoum and El Obeid.

The activities of the program entail:-
– Three Workshops on Training and Capacity Building for Women from Marginalized Communities.

International Women’s Day Events:

Women’s agenda is the most pressing issue Justice Africa Sudan works to address towards achieving justice and goal of the gender equality. After the Sudanese revelation September 2018, the most debatable topic is the Sudanese women Political participation. Justice Africa Sudan in a matter of marking The International Women’s Day organized several events addressing the role of women in the democratic transitional process and how we could strength the capability of women to participate in political life effectively.

The events include:–

– One day workshop about women and the constitution Rights involved men as alliance.
– Engendering the Democratic transitional and the Peace Process Forum.
– International women’s Day event.

Celebrating World’s Children’s Day: Recycling Workshop for Children:

The Radio and Television Authority, represented by Ms. Tahanee, with support from Justice Africa Sudan, organized a recycling workshop for children involving 20 participants. The workshop was part of the celebrations for World Children’s Day. Its aim was to equip children with recycling skills and to foster their creative and critical thinking by utilizing the available resources around them.

Press Conference for the Public Initiative for Security and Peace:

The press conference held by the Public Initiative for Security and Peace on October 4, 2020, addressed escalating violence under Sudan’s transitional government. The initiative, representing various sectors of Sudanese society, aimed to monitor human rights violations and urge authorities to ensure citizen safety. They presented a memorandum detailing violations in conflict zones and elsewhere to key government figures. The conference emphasized the state’s responsibility to protect civilians through impartial judicial systems and highlighted the importance of security for achieving stability.
